Friday Evening Service

Prelude: Mackenzie Ewers played a violin solo of “I’ll Fly Away Medly,” accompanied by Kristi Riler on the piano and Matt Hanson on the banjo. A male quartet then sang “A Miracle of Love.”

Featured Testimonies: Duane Wilson shared how the Lord has been helping take care of details regarding the care of his brother who has cancer. Matt Hanson was thankful that when he leans on the Lord, He holds him up. Trina Paulsen said twenty-six years ago to the day the Lord filled her with the Holy Spirit at the age of eleven. She thought she was too young but decided to give it a try and if she was old enough, the Lord would baptize her – and He did!

First Special: The choir sang “The Banner of the Cross.”

Last Special: Gary Wolfe sang “Follow Me.”

Sermon: Erik Calhoun (pictured above) preached from Daniel 6:25-27, listing seven character traits of God: 1) God is a living God; 2) God is steadfast forever; 3) His kingdom will not be destroyed; 4) His dominion shall be even unto the end; 5) He delivers; 6) He rescues; 7) He works signs and wonders in Heaven and in earth.
