Sunday Evening Ordinance Service

Prelude: Shyla Piper played “O Mio Babbino Caro” and “Here I am to Worship” on the clarinet. Then the choir sang “Jesus Paid it All.”

First Special: A string/oboe ensemble accompanied Peter Moberg as he sang “How Beautiful.”

Lord’s Supper Sermon: Tom Pricskett read 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 and said Jesus took the place of the Passover lamb, and now all who abide under His Blood are saved from the penalty of sin.

Foot Washing Sermon: John Musgrave took his text from John 13:2-17, saying Jesus gave simple instructions that His followers wash each other’s feet and He led them by example. The disciples were confused by this new ordinance, and though we may not fully understand it either, a blessing is promised to all who obey.

Final Special: A trumpet trio of Randy Baltzell, Dave Green, and Rob Moen played “Count Your Blessings.” Then, a ladies’ quartet of Debbie Lee, Jennifer Buss, Kristin Lee, and Alicia Parker (pictured above) sang “Light from Heaven.”
