Prelude: Roxie Rael played a violin solo of “Sweet Hour of Prayer” and “Wonderful Words of Life.” Then the California reunion choir sang “We Will Remember.”

Featured testimonies: Rosie Lambert told how the Lord healed her daughter when she was diagnosed with an incurable disease. Olutayo Onabolu thanked the Lord for sparing his life five years ago when he was in a car accident, and for healing his injuries. Adefemi Akpara praised God for His healing power, and said he had a stroke and the doctors said he wouldn’t speak again, but today he has no trouble speaking. Lori Arechy shared that she had a serious health issue while trying to finish school, and her most difficult exams came while she was having radiation treatment, but the Lord restored her health and helped her finish school. JC Ruiz (pictured above) said he came to camp meeting for his uncle’s wedding, but got much more: the Lord saved, sanctified, and baptized him.

First Special: A ladies’ octet from Woodlake, California, sang “Got to Get to Jesus,” with Kelsey Hopper, soloist.

Last Special: The California reunion choir sang “I Love the Lord.”

Sermon: Howard Canning, pastor in Bide Arm, Newfoundland, Canada, took his text from Luke 18:35-43, encouraging everyone at camp meeting to do as the man in this account—seize the moment and call out to Jesus as He passes by.
