Wednesday Youth Service

Prelude: The youth orchestra played “Blessed Be Your Name” and then the youth choir sang “The Sound of the Round.”

Featured testimonies:Shannon McCarville shared how the Lord saved her at age thirteen. Lee Arechy thanked God for guidance and making it possible for him to attend nursing school. Kelsey Hopper (pictured above) testified that when she was praying for the baptism of the Holy Ghost, she was self-conscious, so she asked God to give it to her at home. However, God's ways are best and He baptized her at youth camp where she was surrounded by encouraging friends who prayed with her. Florence Adesope said God protected her when she was hit by a car about six months ago, and no bones were broken. Austin McCarville said he realized he needed salvation after lying to a friend, so he prayed in his room and God saved him.

Special: A young ladies’ quartet sang “Tell the Mountain.”

Special: Shelby Warberg sang “Resurrect Me.”

Sermon: Scott Wells, pastor in Langley, British Columbia, Canada, read John 16:7-13 and spoke about the necessity of the Holy Spirit in a person’s life.
