Melbourne Holds First Children’s Church

The saints in Melbourne, Australia, marked a new milestone when they held their first children’s church service on Sunday evening, June 4.

The day started with Sunday school, which had been expanded in recent months to include an eighth grade through high school class. These students took their lesson from our Answer curriculum and studied how to pray, using The Lord’s Prayer as a guideline.

Three New Churches in Romania

John Musgrave, Director of Romania Work, left for Bucharest on Tuesday. Since his arrival, he has been traveling with Gheorghei Macovei and Ted Bora, the Eastern and Western Romania District Superintendents respectively, participating in church services and making home visits.

Debbie and I have been in Woodlake, California, for special meetings, which began on Friday with a theme of “Be Revived; Be Restored; Be Renewed.”

Spring revival meetings were held April 9-16 at the Apostolic Faith Church in Hempstead, New York. The theme verse was Ezekiel 37:4, “O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.” During the opening message, the minister took his text from Ezekiel 37:1-3 referring to Ezekiel’s vision of the dry bones which lived again. This year’s summer camp in the Philippines was held April 12-16, with 353 registered campers from various branch churches. Wharton Church Dedicated with Weekend of Special Services

Debbie and I are on our way home from New Jersey where we enjoyed a weekend of special meetings celebrating the dedication of our Wharton church. The schedule included evangelistic services on Friday and Sunday evenings, a morning devotional and evening concert on Saturday, and the dedication service on Sunday morning.
